Sushi Tomodachi, a growing independent art brand, is seeking enthusiastic Events Brand Ambassadors to represent our company at upcoming conventions. What the work is:

• Setup and operate The Sushi Bar to provide an amazing customer experience at conventions.
• Attend various events, including comic and anime conventions, of various sizes.
• Represent the Sushi Tomodachi brand with enthusiasm and professionalism.
• Think acting! When working at the booth, you will be "performing" within the Sushi Tomodachi world. You'll need to share our love of terrible puns in order to excel. Yes, puns really are being listed as a job requirement. 
• Engage with visitors and provide exceptional customer service with a smile.
• Distribute marketing materials and collect customer data.
• Assist in setting up and dismantling the booth or exhibition area.
• Collaborate with the Sushi Tomodachi team to ensure a smooth and successful event experience.
• May be asked to facilitate receiving materials prior to events, or facilitate shipping of materials after events
• Interested in working with us on a more consistent basis? An ideal match can expand into event coordination and scheduling.

Requirements:

• Must be of legal age to pickup and drive rented vehicles.
• Must be able to demonstrate physical capablity of lifting and carrying 45 lbs up to 100 yards and demonstrate understanding of safe lifting techniques.
• Must be local to the events and have reliable transportation to and from the event venues.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for anime, manga and/or food.
• Availability to work weekends, for up to 3-5 days per gig, depending on the specific convention. 
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Friendly, outgoing, and approachable personality.
• Punctuality is a requirement for this role - The con waits for no one!

Compensation:

• A base salary is offered on an event-by-event basis.
• Sales bonuses are offered based on performance
• Additional part/full time work available between cons including event coordination and scheduling.
