Looking for someone excited to travel and meet new people! This team member will work at tradeshows with us around the country and working in our Chicago, IL location during off periods.

No Experience Nessecary, we will train you! $21/hr+ after trial period - Read below to find out more!

Apply to work with us if the following excites you:

• You'll travel at least one weekend per month (Thurs-Mon), sometimes up to two or three weekends per month during busy seasons, to setup and work our booth at exciting events all over the country.
• In off periods where you aren't traveling, you'll continue to deliver the same level of service to customers online and on the phone from our Palos Park office during standard business hours.
• You'll be responsible for ensuring all incoming customer messages are addressed.
• You'll help us make sure everyone got what they wanted by keeping customer profiles and order details up to date.
• You'll work in a creative environment for a small but growing, artist-owned collectibles brand.
• You'll have the opportunity to earn bonuses for sales performance.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Traveling to Tradeshows to setup and work our booth
• Delivering quick responses to customers
• Ensuring order accuracy
• Housekeeping our Customer Database
• Act as a dedicated Customer Contact

Requirements to Perform Well in this Role are:

• Weekend travel is a core responsibility of this role.
• You must be able to travel to our Palos Park, IL location for work during off-weeks.
• Provide a warm, welcome experience and be able to present professionally to customers in all interactions, both face to face and through online channels.
• You will learn to memorize sales scripts so that you can help customers quickly and efficiently.
• Did you hear about how Van Halen would demand no brown M&Ms in their contracts? It was how they verified that venues read their full safety requirements listed in their contract. Thats why you need to enter "no brown m&ms" into the application form!
• You must be capable of carrying 40 lbs a distance of 100 feet unassisted.
• You must be capable of remaining on your feet for as long as 4-6 hours unassisted.

Experience

We prioritize a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and the ability to view failures as growth opportunities - We will train the right candidate. Preexisting knowledge that would make this job easier but that is not required will include:

• Extroverted personality
• Any preexisting convention or tradeshow sales experience
• Any preexisting customer service training that emphasizes speed and accuracy.
• Any preexisting sales training.
• Familiarity with anime and furry subcultures is helpful, but not required.
• Familiarity with Shopify ecommerce platform is helpful, but not required.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace is helpful, but not required.

Compensation

This role has opportunities to earn more based on performance.

• Pay starts at $20/hr during the trial period. 
• Pay increases to $21/hr after the 90 trial period concludes successfully and you officially join the team.
• Sales Bonuses are offered for good performance!

Hours

When not traveling, this role works in office during normal office hours (9AM - 5PM) Tues, Wed, Thurs. After the trial period, you'll have the option to move to full time if desired or stay on the existing in-office schedule.

When traveling, the role shifts to 40+ hours for that week, working fluctuating hours based on the event, working Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun, and Mon.

Performance Expectations

This is position has performance quotas. We provide all training and instruction to reliably meet any quotas. Performance is reviewed quarterly.

Work Location:

• In person in Palos Park, IL
• Minimum of once monthly travel to various destinations across the US
