Achievements/Maneki Neko Rewards Fine Print

How to Claim Achievements: When you've met the criteria for an achievement, a red 'CLAIM NOW' will popup on that achievement or neko. You'll be taken to a product page where you will add the achievement or neko to your cart to checkout, and the item will be discounted to $0.

You can complete checkout with only achievements or nekos. If you are a Tasting Room Member or have an open preorder, they will be added to your next upcoming shipment.

If you are not a Tasting Room Member and do not have any open orders waiting, then the achievements will be shipped in your next order -or- you can pick them up at a convention.

How Achievements are Turned in for Nekos: When someone collects multiple achievements and wants to redeem them for a neko, you can turn them in in one of the following ways:
  1. Turn them in in person by bringing them to a convention
  2. Ship the backer cards for the achievements you received back to our PO Box, including your name, e-mail address and the achievement you are claiming inside the package. Please wrap the achievements so they are not damaged. Shipping costs are not reimbursed.

    Our shipping address is:

Access to Achievements/Neko Rewards: Achievement and Neko Rewards are a priviledge offered as a perk for loyal customers, and will unlock after someone has reached $40 lifetime spend with us. This is to ensure that we can continue to offer these rewards for free. We reserve the right to revoke access to the Achievements & Neko Rewards game at any time, and can do so on an individual account basis.

Authentication: All rewards based on referrals will be verified. Discovery of any false referrals or fraudulent completion claims will not only be deducted from achievement progress, but can result in your access to our Achievement and Neko rewards game being revoked entirely. We're doing this because we want it to be fun, but false sign ups would literally be stealing. You wouldn't STEAL from TINA, would you? 🥺 As an anti-capitalist, if you manage to download a car, Tina will absolutely cheer you on. However, Tina is also forced to participate in capitalism to survive, and ask you to remember that this is a home-grown art project run by passionate individuals, not a big corporation! Please make sure Spaghettio does not go hungry, please play by the rules and do not attempt to steal.  Spaghettio thanks you.

Authority: Sushi Tomodachi staff reserves the right to make a judgement call if any task completion comes into question, and a staff member's ruling is final. If a staff member's ruling means that someone will NOT qualify for an achievement, that person is still welcome to reattempt completion with the new clarification in mind.

How Rewards are Issued: When someone completes a task, then we will create an order in our order system. This is how we track outgoing shipments and what we owe people. An e-mail confirmation will be provided, and it will either look like an order was placed, or an order update e-mail. A physical "achievement" button or Maneki Neko will be shipped in the customer's next shipment.

Where possible, this process is automated. When automation is not possible, we will include instructions.

Multiple Rewards Policy: Since delivering rewards can be costly, we want to do our best to make sure we can adequately deliver without waste. With this in mind, Neko rewards will be automatically issued for the first instance that the achievement is completed. If an Neko achievement is completed again, and you want more than one neko rewarded for completing the achievement, then simply request one. We will, upon request, reissue Nekos when the criteria is met again, except where otherwise specified (I.e. For example, limit 1 Original Maneki Neko per guest.).

Retroactive Rewards Policy: We are unable to manually award redemptions on orders or actions taken before 3/31/26, even if those orders technically meet the criteria. We may be willing to make exceptions for Omakase members on request, on a case by case basis.
