Catering Crew Compensation

In order to get paid, you must provide your personal information. After the team tag is applied to your SushiTomodachi.co account, it will grant access to a private, team-only page on the Update Profile page.Team Members who expect to be paid more than $600 USD in a calendar year should plan for tax time accordingly. We have alternative compensation options available, which you can opt in for from the Update Profile page. Event Payment Schedule Exclusive Team Only Pins are awarded Sunday evening during Tear Down to those present to pick them up in person. Payment and Reimbursements are provided the Thursday after the convention, after all work and shifts have been completed only. We do not provide advances during the convention for work not yet performed. Late, No Show & Cancellation Policy If any scheduled shifts are late by more than 10 minutes, hours worked for that shift can be applied towards merchandise only. If you no show for any scheduled shifts, you forfeit any additional bonuses earned. If you commit to a shift, and cancel with less than 14 days notice, you forfeit all payment and expected reimbursements for the event. Compensation and Reimbursement Requirements for Catering Crew In order to be paid for work at an event, you MUST complete your profile, and meet the listed criteria for reimbursement below. All reimbursements should be submitted to http://sushitomodachi.co/expenses Submit Expenses Tiered Compensation In order to be compensated for something, you must also meet all the criteria for the items listed before it. Items are reimbursed/compensated in the order they are shown, from top to bottom, so in this order:First, you can get reimbursed for Badge (If you meet the criteria)- THEN - You can get reimbursed for Hotel (If you meet the criteria for this AND Badge)- THEN -You can get reimbursed for Travel. (If you meet the criteria for this AND Hotel AND Badge)For example, you cannot qualify for a travel reimbursement without first also qualifying for a hotel reimbursement. Badge Reimbursement Please note, badges are reimbursed only, and only for the early-bird pre-registration rate. Pre-register early for full reimbursement. 🟥 Event Lead (Responsible for All): A standard attending badge is always included as part of the Event Lead's compensation long as they meet their obligations before, during and after the convention. Must still pre-register and submit proof of payment for badge via http://sushitomodachi.co/expenses 🟧 Event Sales (Work at the booth): Badge can be reimbursed through commitment and follow through. The following must be met for Event Sales to have their badge covered: You must pre-register in advance of the convention, and initiate the conversation to obtain your Dealer's access with Tina at least 14 days ahead of the convention. - AND - You must participate in both setup and teardown (Arrive early on Thursday, leave late Sunday) - AND - You must work a minimum of two four hour shifts at the booth on two different days, one opening shift and one closing shift.- AND - You must collect five new customer e-mail addresses during your shift using the script provided. (This is basically guaranteed as long as you follow the script)- AND - You must submit proof of payment for your badge via http://sushitomodachi.co/expenses 🟪 Digital Sales Support (On-Site) Badge can be reimbursed through commitment and follow through. The following must be met for Digital Sales to have their badge covered: You must pre-register in advance of the convention - AND - After completing the RSVP & Pre-Event Marketing Campaigns (A paid task) IF REQUIREMENTS ARE MET You will be paid a flat job rate plus: Your badge will be reimbursed at the early bird pre-registration rate for a standard level attendance or dealer badge. You will also recieve the $1/email bonus for each verified new customer e-mail address collected. IF REQUIREMENTS ARE NOT MET You will be paid out at an hourly rate for the actual hours worked only, which may or may not meet the cost of this expense out of pocket depending on the number of hours worked. NOTE REGARDING EXTRA BADGES: Badges included with booth are provided to those working the booth or providing support to the booth only. Under no circumstances are leftover badges given away, sold or otherwise distributed to people who are not providing support in some form during the event. Housing Reimbursement 🟥 Event Lead (Responsible for All): Housing is always included as part of the Event Lead's compensation long as they meet their obligations before, during and after the convention. Must submit proof of payment for housing via http://sushitomodachi.co/expenses 🟧 Event Sales (Work at the booth): Housing can be reimbursed through commitment and follow through. The following must be met for Event Sales to have their room covered: You must participate in setup and teardown - AND - You must arrive on time and complete all shifts with a minimum of one 6 hour shift at the booth EACH SALES DAY, including Saturday.- AND - You must collect 30 new customer e-mail addresses during the event using the script provided. (This is basically guaranteed as long as you follow the script)- AND - You must submit proof of payment for your badge and housing via http://sushitomodachi.co/expenses 🟪 Digital Sales Support (On-Site) Housing can be reimbursed through commitment and follow through. The following must be met for Digital Sales to have their hotel covered: You must participate in both setup and teardown (Arrive early on Thursday, leave late Sunday) to document the process. - AND - You must create on brand content and post to social media all five days during the convention (Content templates will be provided)- AND - You must respond to social media comments during the convention as they come in- AND - You must submit proof of payment for your hotel via http://sushitomodachi.co/expenses IF REQUIREMENTS ARE MET You will be paid a flat job rate plus: Your badge will be reimbursed at the pre-registration rate for a standard level attendance or dealer badge (Badge Recompensation requirements must be met) Your housing cost will be reimbursed at the on-site hotel rate for a double queen room for Thursday through Sunday night, divided by four. You will also recieve the $1/email bonus for each verified new customer e-mail address collected.Example: At a hypothetical convention, the rate posted online for the on-site hotel for Thursday through Sunday is $199/night plus taxes and fees. After taxes and fees, it rounds up to $235/night. $235/night for check-in on Thursday through check-out on Sunday is $940. Divided by four roommates, you are reimbursed $235 towards your housing costs. IF REQUIREMENTS ARE NOT MET You will be paid out at an hourly rate for the actual hours worked only. If any shifts are late by more than 10 minutes, hours worked for that shift can be applied towards merchandise purchase only. Travel/Mileage Reimbursement NOTE: Travel/Mileage Reimbursement is directly tied to the amount of sales you personally process at the register. Travel Reimbursement means you may choose reimbursement for ONE of the following: ✈️ A standard fare plane ticket for one person plus... One rideshare trip to the event center One rideshare trip returning to the airport Cost for each checked bag containing 90%+ of booth supplies/inventory Mileage and parking costs are not included in this reimbursement package. Reciepts required for reimbursement- OR - 🚄 A train ticket for one person plus... One rideshare trip to the event center One rideshare trip returning to the airport Cost for each checked bag containing 90%+ of booth supplies/inventory Mileage and parking costs are not included in this reimbursement package. Reciepts required for reimbursement - OR - 🚘 Mileage for one vehicle plus... Parking at event center paid at the advertised rate, one charge per day. Highway tolls paid, Mileage calculated based on one trip from the most direct route from one address to the event location, doubled Additional travel tickets, rideshares or non-business trips are not included if these are being covered. Flights are covered for Event Leads after they demonstrate ability to perform well by filling the Event Lead role at two or more local/driving distance shows first.🟧 Event Sales (Work at the booth): Travel can be reimbursed through commitment and follow through. The following must be met for Event Sales to have their travel covered: You are responsible for making your own travel arrangements - All reasonable costs will be reimbursed to you after you submit all documentation and reciepts at http://sushitomodachi.co/expenses - AND - You must participate in setup and teardown - AND - You must arrive on time and complete all shifts when you commit to a full schedule of 8 hours per day for all sales days and you are prepared to accept the possibility of being scheduled during events such as panels, fursuit parade or dance competition if they overlap with dealer hours.- AND - You must collect 30 new customer e-mail addresses during the event using the script provided. (This is basically guaranteed as long as you follow the script)- AND - You will have and meet a personal sales quota for the event. - AND - You must submit proof of payment for your badge, housing and travel costs via http://sushitomodachi.co/expenses 🟪 Digital Sales Support (On-Site) Housing can be reimbursed through commitment and follow through. The following must be met for Digital Sales to have their hotel covered: You are responsible for making your own travel arrangements - All reasonable costs will be reimbursed to you after you submit all documentation and reciepts at http://sushitomodachi.co/expenses - AND - You must participate in both setup and teardown (Arrive early on Thursday, leave late Sunday) to document the process. - AND - You must create on brand content and post to social media all five days during the convention (Content templates will be provided)- AND - You must respond to social media comments during the convention as they come in- AND - You must foster and encourage conversations and activities for the online community throughout the course of the con- AND - You must submit proof of payment for your travel via http://sushitomodachi.co/expenses IF REQUIREMENTS ARE MET You will be paid for your hours plus: Your badge will be reimbursed at the pre-registration rate for a standard level attendance or dealer badge (Badge Recompensation requirements must be met) Your housing cost will be reimbursed at the on-site hotel rate for a double queen room for Thursday through Sunday night, divided by four. Your travel costs will be reimbursed at a maximum of 10% of the sales revenue generated during your shifts. (For example, if you missed working Saturday, Saturday sales would not be available to cover your costs. You would be reimbursed at a maximum of 10% of the total of sales from Friday and Sunday.) You will also recieve the $1/email bonus for each verified new customer e-mail address collected. IF REQUIREMENTS ARE NOT MET You will be paid out at an hourly rate for the actual hours worked only. If any shifts are late by more than 10 minutes, hours worked for that shift can be applied towards merchandise purchase only.
