I practice asynchronous communication. I’m not immediately available to calls, texts or dms, and I don’t respond instantly like most people do. I check and respond to messages during scheduled times only because constant connectivity kills my focus and deep work. For full conversations, I prefer to schedule a call time at least 24 hours advance so I can be prepared. I’ve built systems with automatic prompts to keep tasks moving forward, so we can avoid “what should I do?” conversations. If you are unsure what to do, please start by reviewing the assigned role article you were provided, and let me know if you have questions or need some sort of access. To keep things efficient and consistent, I sometimes use pre-written templates or structured responses for common topics or questions. I tend to struggle with over-explaining or assuming I've said something when I haven't, so this approach helps me reply without missing any essential information. I trust you to provide regular updates and status reports proactively without me having to ask. I operate believing in autonomy and self reliance.About Public Announcements When I post a public announcement or update, it’s a one-way broadcast to keep everyone informed efficiently. It does not mean I’m sitting at my computer, checking messages, or available for questions right then. In fact, the opposite is true: posting an update usually means I’m deep in the work I just told you about, and I’m intentionally staying focused on it while trying to keep people aware. To keep things clear going forward: Treat my public posts as information only, not as an indicator that I am at my computer or available. If you have a question or comment about the update, please send it as a separate message and I’ll get to it during my next scheduled communication window. This helps me stay productive while still keeping everyone in the loop. If this framework works for you, we’ll communicate and collaborate smoothly. If you sense you may need more one-on-one guidance beyond an initial training period, you may need to work under someone with a different managerial style than me, and thats okay! It is healthy to seek dynamics that work in alignment with how we operate best by deciding this up front.
