We create a unique linktree page for each event we attend in order to assess the event's efficiency. Who is responsible for this task? Whoever is setting up the event is responsible for preparing this ahead of the event, and the Event Lead is responsible for ensuring that this sign is on display at the booth. Have we attended this con before? If YES Use the previous sign. There is no need to create a new one. Reprint it if you cannot locate it. If NO Continue with following instructions. Create the Landing Page Go to Pages and create a new page Title of the Page should be a human-readable Event Name. (No acronyms) In content, enter an acronym or the event name. Make it ten letters or less No Spaces All Lowercase Check the "Show HTML" and remove any <p></p> tags inserted by Shopify's editor. Add a Shortened URL Redirect Go to the Redirects page Under 'Redirect from', enter / then the event name (i.e. "/denfur" or "/sdcc") Under 'Redirect to', enter the actual page handle Get this from the page you just created, but it's probably something like "/pages/eventname" You can skip the "Http://www.sushitomodachi.co" portion of the URL here. Generate the QR Code If you see this message, tell Tina!!! Note to self: Add QR Code Generator to website for team access. Save the QR Code to the Event's Convention Folder as "QRCode_eventname". Update the Signage Locate a 11x14_Linktree Sign Template You can get this from any event where this sign already exists. Here's a link to the Anthrocon PSD file. (Google Drive Access Permission is required) Update the URL in the button, and the QR Code. Test the QR code with your phone Make sure it loads the Linktree page Make sure the URL is correct Save the file as a JPG in the Event's Convention Folder. Print the sign and replace the sign If you're in office, use the printer. If you're at a con, locate a print shop or business center and print it through them.
