Priority: This is a priority item, meaning it has a dedicated task time on a regular schedule. Failure to prioritize this task during it's scheduled time would be considered a failure to perform as instructed. What To Do: Pick items for all newly reviewed orders and tag them so that customers will receive their updates. How Long It Should Take: This task scheduled on the #shipping-dept calendar. If choosing to extend work time on this task, this task should be given no more than a maximum of 2 hours per day. If you complete this task's completion criteria within the alloted time, move on to the next priority task item. If you do not complete this task within the allotted time frame, then... Make this your first Secondary Task Item to complete if you complete all other Priority tasks early. If you cannot return to this task today, and there is task time scheduled tomorrow, simply continue the task tomorrow, combining tomorrow's criteria. If you complete all priority task items, move onto the secondary task list. Success means that you complete the number of items counted for the week, regardless of whether you meet the daily count or not. How To Do It: Open the 'ready-to-ship-guest-notified' tag page and count the number of orders, this is the number of orders you will need to update today to meet 100% completion. Orders may be added to this list throughout the day, so the list may or may not not be empty when you are done. Start your time tracking, entering the number of orders as your completion criteria for today. (i.e. "Pick 10 orders") Go in order of oldest to newest. Print packing slips for all orders in the list, grouping them together by customer. For easier matching, it's recommended to open the individual customer order history and print all unfulfilled orders from there, so that orders all print together. Separate the task lists from the packing slips. Order them both by number. Packing slips together, and task lists together. Stack the task lists up, sticking them together with order numbers visible, with the parent order number at the front/bottom. Pair the packing slips with a pick tray. Pick items for each order, confirming their accuracy by marking the customer's packing slip with a colourful marker. Once the order pick is confirmed to be 100% complete and accurate, add the 'picked' tag to the order. Place the order tray on the order shelf, ordering them oldest to newest from left to right, from top to bottom. When you have completed your picks for the day OR if you have run out of time, end your time tracking. Completion Means: Picking the number of orders you counted in the morning. All orders picked today should have the 'picked' tag added in Shopify. All orders picked today should have 100% of their items in their pick tray, including their packaging, and marketing pack ins. If any orders were unable to be 100% packed, then they have the 'help' tag added and all questions should be added to the order timeline. All orders picked should be accurate All order pick trays should be neatly organized on the order storage shelves. Once done, move to the next priority task on your task list. Do not pick additional orders unless you have been given explicit instructions to do so today OR all other priority task items have been completed.
