Tasting Room Pin Lifecycle
Month One: Pre-production & Community Feedback

Month Two/Three: Production

Now it takes time to produce the pin! Pin production timelines are between 6-8 weeks usually, but sometimes it can be more or less. We want to build this into our planning, so we call this MONTH TWO/THREE.
Month Four: Member Delivery
When the pins come in, the first people who get them are our wonderful Tasting Room Members. These items are shipped as part of their standard Monthly Maki Mail shipment. This means that pins don't start being shipped to members until MONTH FOUR.
During Month Four, all Tasting Room Memberships activated between 12:01 AM on the first day of the month through 11:59PM on the last day of the month will recieve their choice between the two pin designs available for that month. They will also have the option to add on that month's 2nd pin at a discounted price, or even order more of that pin if they so choose.
At the end of this month, we will know how many of our pins are left for non-members and will prepare to release them to the public.
Month Five: Pin Becomes Available to Public
At this stage, the remaining pin production is available to the public. Whether the pin is deemed to be a limited run or not will depend on a variety of factors, and it's possible that a pin could end up not being made available beyond it's initial run.
Month Six: Pin Becomes Available in Mystery Boxes
At this point, the pin has been shared with our Tasting Room Members and die hards, and can now be rotated into Mystery Boxes.
It may be tempting to just wait until a pin is available before getting it, but joining the Tasting Room is the best way to support the Sushi Bar while guaranteeing you don't miss any of our dishes.
